“Utilizing Graphic Design to Visually Communicate via Digital Media and Print”
The Digital Media program introduces the student to the technical, creative skills, and business skills, needed for a career developing, designing and manipulating digital audio and visual media.
As a student in the Digital Media program, you will learn the latest software applications in the Adobe® Creative Suite (Photoshop, Animate, Premiere, Illustrator & InDesign) to create dynamic digital artwork. This artwork is used to “visually communicate” via print, web and movies.
During your studies, you will produce banners, buttons, post cards, signage, flyers, brochures, web sites, and movies. You will prepare designs and layouts; shoot photo and video; write copy and scripts; and create illustrations and animations.
Students who earn certifications in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign earn an additional certification: Visual Design Specialist
